The reproductive system and its disorders are topics that are often short-changed in massage education, but many of our clients live with
gender-related conditions that influence all aspects of their life. From prostate enlargement to painful menstrual cramps, this class will discuss
some of the most common reproductive system conditions that our clients experience. We will review the basic anatomy of the male and
female systems, then discuss problems including prostate cancer, testicular cancer, dysmenorrhea, cervical cancer, breast cancer, and

Cardiovascular Conditions
Almost 40% of all deaths in the US are linked to some form of heart disease. About 25% of all people over 18 have high blood pressure, the
starting point for artherosclerosis, heart attack, and heart failure. In their early stages, these common and life threatening conditions are
virtually silent. This lively interactive lecture will address the most common forms of heart disease listed above, as well as venous problems
including deep vein thrombosis and pulmonary embolism. We will discuss how these conditions come about, how they impact health, and how
bodywork can be applied with minimum risks. Bring your curiosity and questions for this important time together.
